This is a duplex which attempts to break with the tradition of the standard "mirror image" duplex design. The two units in this striking home have a distinctive character from the facade to the floor plan, and every detail in between. Separated by a raw concrete core, the building utilizes contrasting and complimentary material palette which provided no shortage of construction challenges. Many of the design elements such as the structural concrete, tall glass curtain wall, interior bridges, and glass railings are more commonly associated with large commercial projects and office towers than contemporary residences.
